Hands-on family tours happen at 1:00 p.m. every day. Pan for gold in Trails West! Our Family Discovery Gallery lets you experience the life of the Sees, a Chinese American family from here in Los Angeles, in 1937. You can play in their family restaurant or antique store, and even hang out in a re-creation of their living room and kitchen. Put on some cowboy clothes and climb on a plastic horse, or hop on our green screen saddle and find yourself in the middle of your own Western movie!!! Visit our hands-on carts. Play with nineteenth century toys. Handle hides, furs, and other stuff from our nineteenth century mountain man cart. Learn about the life of women on the Overland Trail with hands-on activities. Put on a pair of chaps and handle a branding iron at our cowboy cart. And lots more!!!

Plus Wednesdays are WestDays at the Autry! Every Wednesday, from June 27 through August 8, kids and families will be able to explore one of the Autrys galleries with a museum teacher and learn more about the history of the West with hands-on activities, crafts, and games.
