This ongoing program allows visitors to discover the myths and realities of the various American gold rushes by investigating the individual stories, struggles, and journeys associated with this migration. Explore the diverse groups of people who traveled to California during its gold rush and examine how it impacted the states Native people and ecosystem.Try your hand at panning for gold, just like the early miners. After collecting your riches, see how much food and supplies you can buy in the general store.
